Our Pastor
Myungso Lee is the pastor of the Middlebury United Methodist Church. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child Studies from Seoul Women’s University in South Korea. After she graduated from college, she worked for the international mission organization Youth With A Mission (YWAM), dreaming of becoming a missionary. In 2014, she came to the United States to be with her husband as he studied abroad. While supporting her husband, she felt the calling from God to serve a church congregation as a pastor. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Boston University in 2020. She believes that God welcomes everyone as a child of God and invites all to God’s loving space. She believes that one of her callings is to proclaim the justice of God and to be in solidarity with the children of God as a part of the church. She wants to witness God fulfilling the reign of God through the hospitality, solidarity, justice and love that Jesus has shown us. She lives in North Ferrisburgh with his husband, Sunjae Lee who serves the North Ferrisburgh United Methodist Church as a full-time pastor.
